Fellow Democrats,
In 2017, I had the honor of running for Vice Chair of the Democratic National Committee in a contested race with nine candidates. While we didn’t succeed, I was incredibly proud of the campaign we ran and the incredible support we received. We fought until the very last ballot, and the experience only deepened my commitment to building a stronger, more unified Democratic Party.
Today, as we face the aftermath of a tough presidential loss, I find myself reflecting on that journey. As is tradition after such a loss, elections are taking place for DNC officer positions. I wish we were celebrating a victory for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz instead, but we must now focus on how to rebuild, reenergize, and prepare to win in special elections, the midterms and in 2028.
Over the past few days, I’ve been humbled and deeply moved by the messages, calls, and encouragement I’ve received urging me to run for DNC Vice Chair again. Your belief in my vision and leadership means the world to me.
I want to take this moment to thank everyone who has reached out. Your passion and dedication inspire me. I am seriously considering stepping back into the race, and I promise to take the time to weigh this decision carefully, with the same dedication to our party and values that I’ve always carried.
Stay tuned — there’s much work to be done, and together, we will ensure our party is stronger than ever.
With gratitude,
Adam Parkhomenko
If you’re going to help lead, then get the DNC to shake off the old rich white guys, focus on women’s issues: childcare help, abortion rights, medical insurance; workers rights (every D should support unions); HOUSING. Then we will win. Unless and until the rich guys stop trying to govern top-down, we will always lose.
Absolutely!! You’d be great!! You’re 💯% what us Dems need!!! A decent man not in it for greed but for democracy!!! Go for it!!! Yippee!!🥳 🙌
