CAM, I'm happy to tell you this is all for show and to add to the chaos. We are very grateful for your concern for us, and for yourselves, but nothing will come of it. Donnie is not going to attack NATO by trying to annex Greenland, or to pressure you, or to attack Panama, or any of this nonsense. It's a combination of performative and of trying to make his mark. Donnie cannot tolerate anything that is not about himself. He has no use for the U.S. Constitution, because he didn't compose it, and it has nothing to do with him. If you noticed his last inauguration, he did not put his hand on whatever bible was presented to him. He didn't write any of the bibles, either, so he doesn't care about them. (And there's certainly no one more sacrilegious than Donnie.)

Fred, thank you for adding your 2 cents to the chaos. IMO, the problem with Trump is that he doesn’t understand the job of being President. He simply doesn’t grasp the immensity nor the import of the job, and he proves it daily by sitting at the Resolute Desk and signing his mountain of EOs with a sharpie.

He’s bored by the routine, and he’d much prefer to be back at MAL to practice his winning shots on the golf course. He’s very much like his wife, who only likes the state dinners where she can rub shoulders with visiting leaders and wives of other countries. I can just imagine the level of sophistication in their conversations and guests eyes rolling behind their backs. His non stop declarations on tariffs is another Indication of his level of education as well as his lack of knowledge of fiscal and monetary policies. He cannot be trusted and his judgment so impaired as to render him a high risk employee who would be unable to get a security clearance for any government job, a designation that most public servants in most countries are required to have. Your opinion may well be quite valid, but I can assure you that I don’t trust his ability to make decisions in anyone’s interest. He doesn’t possess any of the qualities that are normally required of his position and his peers are mainly autocrats who think he’s an idiot but who continue to befriend him for the goodies that he can bring to the table.

And he knows it, too. He got Elon because he thought Elon would be the brains of the operation. He certainly knows he's very far out of his own depth.

Sorry to disagree with you Fred. But Elon came to Trump by offering him $2.8m towards his election campaign. Elon treated trump as a pawn to get as close as he could to the seat of power. And did he ever win bigly. He’s so trusted by trump that he now holds the reins to slashing government orgs and funding. What I’m not sure of is whether trump’s backroom boys - Stephen Miller and Peter Navarro were instrumental in securing Elon’s approach to infiltrating Trump’s orbit during the campaign and how much influence they may have or had in what I consider to be Elon’s ‘Slashgate’. So far I’m not tilting at windmills.
