The last time we saw her anywhere other than twitter, former Trump attorney Jenna Ellis was sobbing in an Atlanta courthouse as she pleaded guilty for her part in a coup attempt against the United States.
Now Ellis has gone from crying to talking.
Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes announced Monday that her office had reached a “cooperation agreement” with Ellis in the state’s case against Trump’s fake electors. Ellis had been charged with nine felonies, but Mayes agreed to drop the charges in exchange for Ellis becoming a snitch.
(We actually think these kinds of agreements are often vital to obtaining justice in a lot of cases, and we don’t mean to denigrate the maneuver by calling Ellis a snitch. We just thought it was funny. Fucking rat.)
