I do NOT — as the slightly altered saying goes — “have a cock in this fight.” I don’t subscribe — nor listen — to either the “JRE” nor to the “MeidasTouch.”
I count on you two dynamic, sexy, patriotic duo to provide / nurture me with a daily oxygen mask dose of irony, sarcasm, and wit — all of which you have consistently delivered for the past 2+ years of my subscription.
However, for the past week at least, you brilliant and SMART gentlemen seem to be veering off to condemn a third-party (and I could not care less) which smacks of willful censorship and targeted bashing (seems antithetical to your newsletter’s core purpose of balanced — if belovedly and expectedly and often wildly random — snarky commentaries).
I encourage you to “stick to your original knitting” — as this anti-JRE (again, I do NOT care one whit about this feud) is starting to smack of charlatanism and bias (more so even of your well-targeted, reliable, and highly-deserved smack-downs of other offensive “main-stream media” (whatever THAT is these days).
Keep up your great work, gentlemen … just a friendly “caution” from me about your “endorsements” and / or “sponsorships.”
