It’s Wednesday. There are 615 days until the midterm elections. The White House makes state media official, Trump’s psycho new plans and Republicans eff over America.
Rep Crockett’s response to the Elmo Leon question is epic - in a 🎤 no less. Keep going Ms Crockett, you’re making a lot of your citizens’s happy, as well as this Canadian. 👏
I only have one fucking thing to say and that’s to all fucking Republicans, Trump, Leon, and Bezos…they can go fuck all the way off and then fucking have a big circle fuck and fuck each other until their little fucking peckers fall the fuck off assuming they have any. Medicaid? Really???????
We need to pick 3 or 4 republican house members that are in districts that could be flipped in 2026, and really put the heat on them in their districts. Demand Town Hall Meetings, Go to their district offices and hold sit-ins, Picket their homes or march around their neighborhood with signs telling their neighbors what they're voting against. We need to scare a few of them to vote against the trump budget more than Trump and Elon can scare them.
I'm from an all Blue state (MA) but I'm willing to send money and even travel to join a picket line, but there doesn't seem to be any rush to do anything! The Democrats are still bringing knives to gunfights. We have 2 House elections (FL01, FL-6) that are April 1. We've known about them since mid November, with primaries done Jan. 28. If we can minimize GOP turnout (primaries were dismal) because of what trump/musk are doing and get every Dem voter who voted in Nov, we could win those seats, bringing the House to 218-217. These are the things we need to do instead of things like wasting time filing bills protecting birthright citizenship from an illegal executive order. We play into trump's little hands time and time again. We should be attacking Thom Tillis as he is up in 2026 and can be vulnerable if Dems go after him!
It's like the Dems and the MSM are too busy being reactive to every foolish thing trump or musk say, they are not playing their own game and that's how we lose!
It’s all there right in our faces in everyone’s face even Republican voters. The dismantling of democracy the beginning of authoritarianism just like it was in Germany decades ago. They couldn’t imagine the horror yet to come, the evil lurking right under the surface waiting to be unleashed.
We know better this time around but will we do better to stand up to the evil doers?
Here’s something I came across….
When I was in 7th grade, our teacher put on a video and told us to take notes. Ten minutes in, she threw the lights on and shouted at Steven Webb Sladki, telling him he wasn't taking notes and he should have been. But the thing was, Steve was taking notes. I saw it. We all saw it. The teacher asked if anyone wanted to stand up for Steve. A few of us choked out some words of defense but were immediately squashed.
Quickly, we were all very silent. Steve was sent to the principal's office. The teacher came back in the room and said something like "See how easy that was?" We were reading "Anne Frank." I started to understand. I just thought now was a good time to share this story.
Don't ever let anyone tell you that what you see with your own eyes.
Letter to staffer for Tom Barrett (R; MI; 7th District):
Thank you very much for meeting with Dr. David Arnosti’s group the other day (February 25, 2025). We hope and pray that you, Tom Barrett and your office will do everything in your power to maintain the survival of Michigan State University, University of Michigan, Michigan Education, the state of Michigan and the United States of America.
These important institutions and infrastructure are under attack by the current administration in Washington, D.C. Destroying these institutions and this essential and fragile infrastructure will not save money for the United States of America. The current approach to economics, described as “trickle down”, has always failed and will always fail, is designed to fail, is meant to fail. The economics of the current administration is designed to hollow out America and to degrade America’s most essential institutions. If the goal is a successful and enduring country, reliance on such an economic approach is certain to fail.
With potential cuts to Medicaid, think about who will be impacted. Yes, the less fortunate will be but that impacts the broader economy as well. If they are not able to pay for healthcare, they won't be able to spend money on groceries, gasoline, housing, etc. OR they will do without and their costs will actually increase OR (and this is very likely), we will all be paying more in healthcare (all while reducing what they pay nurses, techs, aides, etc) because the medical systems have to make up for it somewhere. Additionally, ⅔ of everyone living in a nursing home is doing so with Medicaid (my dad included). What happens to those people? Will nursing homes have to kick them out? Will they have a menu plan of care available based on ability to pay? Who wants to take care of my high needs dad since I am physically unable to do it myself?
Medicaid is just the beginning - once they chip away at that, they will start in on Medicare. Think about it. Call your congressmen - whether they voted against it (tell them thanks) or for the cuts (tell them why they were wrong and how this will impact REAL PEOPLE).
Medicaid recipients, by and large, are not working the system - billionaires are.
Choosing the worst of the worst is a challenge but I have to say that expecting anyone anywhere in the US to be able to feed themselves on less than $2 a day is in the top five. This is especially true given that it's based on the myth of the lazy good-for-nothing bleeding the government dry. What makes it a candidate for the worst of the worst is the people wanting to do this are self-professed Christians.
"Alina Habba: This is what we're about. We're running this county like President Trump runs the Trump Organization. Like Elon Musk running X. That's what we're doing."
Alina, The Trump Org has gone bankrupt 6 times, and Phony Stark has [checks notes] lost 80% of the value of X since he bought it as of last October.
This really isn't the flex you seem to think it is.
So Republican town halls were only ever photo ops, surprise surprise. As soon as a dissenting opinion is expressed, Republican piggies go whee whee whee whee all the way home.
How about a full page ad in the Washington Post (which won't be allowed, but worth a try) that says, Hey Bezos. Your competitor in the space program also has all of YOUR tax and health information, your government contracts information and access to YOUR accounts and was just awarded another large contract for Starlink for the FAA. How is that working for you? (Just a thought)
Love u guys, wish you'd posted the pic on Truth? Social of the big orange and the Netinhoho in bathing suits on the gaza strip, that was ugggggg for the day

don't need to have YOU happy.
We can’t wait for campaign ads for the midterms! Dems and others need to start NOW to run ads that inform people what is going on!
Kate, great idea!!!

I like your thinking. The trick to finding those members will be finding the voters who put them there and are disgusted by the shenanigans.

Following Trump's shiny objects over and over again drives me nuts.
It's like the Dems and the MSM are too busy being reactive to every foolish thing trump or musk say, they are not playing their own game and that's how we lose!
Trumps distractions, again!
50 states every seat!
With gerrymandering, that is a waste of resources.

Just like January 6...

Flag-waving, god-bothering American vets voted for this shit. Zero self-respect.
Outf#@*kngrageous Adam!

Trump is into selling EVERYTHING. I’m wondering when he’ll start pimping out his ho Melanie and at what price.
Keep resisting y'all . Push harder than ever.
God bless and stay safe in this dangerous times. Truth and love conquers all.
