Elon Musk LOSES BIG in Germany
Musk's big loss in Germany has big lessons for our fight.
In normal times, I would take German elections for granted. But we don’t live in normal times. We live in an era in which the man calling the shots at the White House went all in for the N*zi-lite party ahead of German elections, hoping to export his dystopian ideology to Europe’s largest economy.
The German elections this past weekend were important to Elon Musk; therefore, they were important to me. Eighty-four percent(!) of eligible German voters participated, and the results are in:

Had Musk’s N*zi-lite party gained power, that victory would have marked a major domino fallen toward global authoritarianism. But the German people stood strong.
Musk had appeared, Orwellian-style, at a fundraising event for the far-right Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) party in Germany weeks before the election. Speaking to 4,000 N*zi-lite activists, Musk had a message for Germans: Don’t be ashamed of your N*zi past, he told them.
The message, of course, came on the heels of Musk offering a H*tler salute in celebration of Donald Trump’s second presidency, a gesture for which he earned white supremacists’ praise.
Describing the AfD’s N*zi-lite platform as “very reasonable,” Musk said during an AfD campaign livestream on his platform that “only AfD can save Germany.”
“(Trump and Musk) are going in exactly the right direction… and if the AfD were in (power), we would do exactly the same” as Elon Musk in America.

Musk wanted to make Germany his satellite state. He failed.
Don’t get me wrong: It’s terrifying that Musk and his N*zi-lite party received the support of one in five German voters. But the vast majority of German voters put Elon Musk where he belongs: On the fringes.
Elon undemocratically seized power in America, but he cannot take away our voice, our vote, and our movement against authoritarianism.
We must wake up our friends and neighbors (imagine if 84 percent of Americans became engaged).
We must do as four in five Germans did. We must resist.
We must and we will as more town halls in Republican districts are filling with angry constituents who are asking to see the fraud that their reps are telling them they found. They are yelling back and saying Musk is the fraud and waste and are seeing what’s going on.
As much as our government wasn’t perfect, it worked for all Americans and people see it being dismantled by a nazi fuck and are being told that VA benefits, Medicaid, food stamps, snap.. …are going to be giving to the 1% and the nazi fuck doing the destroying is getting their benefits? People are going for that shit. The house of cards is teetering.
Also there’s pretty clear evidence that Trump has been a Russian asset since the 1980s. But that’s just a sidebar now.
