HEY, my support team! I love you and much gratitude for all your humor and outrage. But I am requesting something. I saw yesterday: Wilkie Farr & Gallagher, the law firm where Doug Emhoff is a partner, pledged at least $100 million in pro bono legal work for causes aligned with 'conservative ideals', Trump said on Tuesday via social media. WTAF? Could y'all look into this?

Note: Something is missing. What do the penguins make that we buy and can make more expensive with tariffs?

Note two: I don't get it. N Korea and Cuba? Aren't they Communist? I thought I remembered that we hate Communists. I know I left that program lying around here somewhere.

Note four: Of course Wisconsin was rigged. There's no possible way any Republican can lose any election unless the election was rigged.

Note five: You misunderstood. Does Donnie use self-focused hyperbole? I mean, have you ever heard him do that? He didn't just find out what groceries are. He invented them. Or at least the word for them. "No one had ever before seen..."

Note six: So here's what I don't get. We hate DEI, right? We only want Caucasians and males. So how do we wind up with people like Kash Patel, Harmeet Dhillon, Tulsi Gabbard, and Linda McMahon? Somebody out there isn't following the playbook.

Note eight: McConnell and Paul are trying to redeem themselves? Now? Does that go on the unspeakably too little, immeasurably too late, list?

Note 14: You misinterpreted "fertilization president." He can let Elon go now ("Where's Waldork?) because Elon has taught him how to crank out enough babies that he doesn't have to give them a further thought. Donnie practiced on Tiffany, and Elon has taught him how to get good at it.

Note 15: Yes. It's necessary that Donnie hurt as many people as possible, especially if they're his own base. Nothing else gets their attention.

"Where's Waldork?:" Maybe Elon disappeared because he took the advice to eat shit. It would frankly be a shame if the value of his Tesla stock rebounded just because he took a day off. It should go to zero and never come back. And so, now that I think about it, should Elon.

"The couches could do better:" By coincidence, I've thought about that at times. Suppose someone took an AR-15 out on a crowd of people, and killed 50-100 of them. And suppose it turned out that one of the people killed was on the FBI's Most Wanted list. Doesn't that prove that it's a good idea to shoot crowds of strangers? It's totally in keeping with the "he's no angel" approach to, you know, any other people.

"Where are the jobs?:" You're not paying attention. Reagan taught you this. You give people with way more money than they can spend more money, which they'll somehow spend, even though they already can't spend what they have, and you don't reduce government services (even though you should, because Reagan said government was the problem). That leaves you with a deficit, which later gets vastly compounded by Cheney/W, until it's finally blamed on Obama on his first day in office. So now, you fire hundreds of thousands of people, give their salaries to Elon, and when they die, you shrug your shoulders, and say that no one lives forever, which is sort of related to the "he's no angel" approach to people who are not you. Sen Kennedy from Louisiana made that very clear in "Today's clips," paragraph 2: "In the long run, we're all dead." So what's the complaint?

We have economic blockades against North Korea and Cuba. We don't trade with them at all.

That said we don't trade with the penguins or Diego Garcia, either.

It's increasingly apparent that some moron decided to ask AI what a good tariff policy, and the same AI that advised us to use glue to hold the chees on our pizza came up with this steaming pile.

Note 1: Der Trumpenfuehrer also imposed a tariff on Diego Garcia, which is only inhabited by US and British soldiers at their military base. He's a forgin jeenyuss, I tell you...

Note 2: Gomer says, "Surprise surprise surprise."

Note 6: If she has no place near our government, I have good place for Harmeet Dhillon. El Salvador maybe?

Note 12: The Saudis own THE ENTIRE pro golf everything now. Those sand humpers made their trophy a really good likeness of an ICONIC picture of the ruins of the World Trade Center on 9/11. And Der Trumpenfuehrer on that day? "Now I have the tallest building in New York."

Note 16: Ms. Crockett should be the House Minority Leader and let Sleepytime Hakeem kick back. And why do I call him Sleepytime Hakeem? Have. You. Ever. Listened. To. Him. Speak? It. Drives. Me. Right. To. Bed.

Note 19: Newsmax opening it was prophetic, but to ring the closing bell, they're going to need a lead balloon.

Clips: John Kennedy of Louisiana and his bullshit can suck a HUGE bag of dicks. He's a big part of the reason we're here.

You know, lunafaer, I always say that in my experience, on the average, women are smarter than men. And this is at least one reason why: they have maternal instincts, nesting instincts, or something, and they have to take more into account than men do.

I think you’re correct but I’d leave out maternal and nesting instincts and just say that women have good instincts, they’re perceptive, good multitaskers and incredibly resourceful.

Females/girls are socialized to act as if they're not as smart as males/boys. Several decades ago, someone did a study of school girls learning math. They found that when the girls were in all girl classes, they learned math perfectly well. The other group were in co-ed (girl and boy) classes, and in that setting, the girls didn't learn math as well as did the boys. Just last week, my son's girlfriend (mid 40s) recalled that when she was in school, there was one boy who strained at raising his hand to answer questions, and said to the girls that they weren't as smart as he was, because they were girls. It's very much like the African Americans who say they have to work twice as hard to get half as much credit as the Caucasians do. There was a movie about African American female mathematicians who were generally disrespected, despite their excellent and critical work in the space program. It was called "Hidden Figures," and it was about the '50s or '60s.

That used to be true, certainly when I was young; my brothers were encouraged to pursue post secondary studies, while the daughters were not. It was expected that we would marry young and forego any advanced studies. It took me a while to catch on to the double standard, but when I did, I did it the hard way. Completing an undergrad program when my kids were young and then an advanced degree when they were well on their way to success even before they got married.
